I know… ‘I do’.
They say that not everyone can make it online, but
if others have done it… then how crazy is it for me to believe,
that I can do it too.
All my life, my fortune has come because I’ve ‘worked very hard’.
And, if that is what its going to take to make my ‘dreams
come true’ yet again… so be it.
But is hard work… really, the answer.
Earlier today, Alex Jeffreys’ operations manager Garry Parkes
reminded me in his own special way…
Rob… its not about understanding all the reasons why
we want you to do certain things… It’s about just doing them.
Yes, Alex Jeffreys and his team are the people I trust
to keep me focused on doing what’s right, to succeeding online.
I’m tired of trying to do it all alone and thankfully
now I have a guide…
Following in the footsteps of giants has never felt so good… Really.
Here is a snapshot of my first 10 days traffic to this escapetoprosperity.com
website of mine… definitely, doing it the Alex Jeffreys way.
Believe me when I say, these results just ‘turn me on’.
Hundreds of people from 18 different countries coming to see what it is
I have to say… I mean , how cool is that.
Sure, blog websites aren’t new. Its just that now, thanks to Alex Jeffreys
not only am I headed in the right direction… I’m getting amazing
amounts of traffic too.
Maybe you’re just starting a blog or even considering
an internet presence for the very first time…
That’s Fantastic.
If a middle aged Canadian (that’s me) can do it… so can you.
Do what… you might be saying… Start a Wordpress Blog.
Here’s how.
step #1. set up a web hosting account
get it here –> http://www.robcanyon.com/recommends/hostgator
step #2. rent a domain name
get it here –> http://www.robcanyon.com/recommends/godaddy
step #3. point your domain name to your web hosting account
by changing you domain name ‘nameservers’ to those at your web hosting account,
step #4. upload Wordpress blogging software into your web hosting account,
using the Fantastico loadable version of Wordpress inside your web hosting account
That’s it…
Everything else is just bells and whistles, or what Alex calls ‘Leverage’.
Take action and get it started, no matter how challenged you think
you might be.
I believe in you, just like Alex believes in me, and you can be certain that
if you get started…
This journey will be one that lays the foundation for as big a rise to fame on
the internet as you think you want it to be…
Be confident in knowing, these same four steps are the ones my mentor
Mr. Alex Jeffreys taught me and continues to teach others when he has the time.
Set up a Wordpress blog, and join me on my journey to marketing success.
Me and my website are always here for you.
Ask me any question by posting your comments, below any article
you choose to read…
Keep smiling.
Rob
P.S. I look forward to meeting you some day soon.

Hey Rob,
Great post, and you’re such an inspiration! Your stats are simply amazing! And to me, you’re one of those natural born leaders. I can sense it in your work and the dedication that you are making to your blog and our forums by sharing everything that you know. Not to mention thank you, for the time that you have spent on my blog and shared some helpful advice.
And you’ll be proud. Me the “no-nothing techie” simply followed your directions and actually created my picture using Gavatar just yesterday, so now you can see my sheep dog mug when I drop over to pay you a visit!
Take care Rob, and keep pushing us forward!

Great job so far Rob! Excellent traffic stats.
But just because a middle aged Canadian can do it, how about an overaged American?
I’ve proved that I can’t do it myself. ow I am going to prove that I can with the help of Alex Jeffreys and all the other great people around here like yourself.

Hi,Rob,
it’s a great post!
At the Middle East people say “The last straw is breaking the camel’s back”.So, at some point people are becoming sick and tired after many failures happened and give up one time and forever.
Only few ones become stronger and keep going ahead without looking back ever.
I like the way of your thinking. The main obstacle is sitting in the people’s heads. If you can overcome it and convince yourself that YOU REALLY CAN, you will definitely succeed. And it doesn’t really matter which way you will achieve your goal.
When you are ready the Teacher will appear.
I wish you all the success on your way to the Top!

I think about that question all the time. Can I really do this thing. Can I really succeed in this online business. At times I feel positive and at other times not so positive. I think to myself why would people come to my blog there are so many others out there. But I try to stay positive and reading your post makes me feel like I can do this. I mean really why not. Others are doing it you just need to stay positive.
Good luck with everything!
Thanks for coming by my site. Its not much, but I am working at it slowing. It is truly exciting to see visitors and I think thats what keeps me motivated.

Hey Rob,
What an excellent post, and so true. Yes, when you start out online you ‘dream’ of what can happen, but when you actually start to see things happen then that does give you that ‘I can do this’ moment.
I think people can use this to see that things will happen when you take action. Anyone can do it, no qualifications are needed. Just focused work and continued enthusiasm will take you a very very long way.
Look forward to reading more of your great posts Rob.
Thanks again,
Paul

Hey Rob,
Great post. The answer to your question is \"yes\". Even though I have been doing IM to some extent full time for the last three years I still considered whether I was cut out for it after finding it harder and harder to make a living online.
However, being on the course and getting to speak to people like yourself has reignited my passion for this game and I know I can not only continue to make a full time living online, but blow everything I have achieved thus far out of the water.
Speak to you soon!

Rob, I really like your blog, and you are so right with your encouragement. Anybody can do this, and don’t be deterred if it may take a while. Some people already have experience with all this technical stuff, so they will advance much quicker than others, who might sometimes take a few years to get where they want to be (my hand’s up!). Either way, if you like what you are doing and are advancing in the direction you have chosen for yourself, just keep going and don’t give up, and you will get there!

BTW, I love the WP theme you have, I tossed between the one I have now and yours.

Hey Rob,
That is actually unbeliavable that you came to my blog minutes after I actually managed to post a comment on AJ’s new forum (well knew to me, cause I am an oldie, that is, lol)
Plus, once again, my super duper telephatic powers came into action once more – no kidding though – and as I came to your blog for some assistance with the widget that AJ gave us all you went to mine and left a post!
I didn’t realised until I re-checked your name.
Lovely coincidence mate.
On my Motherly Gratitude that I am giving out to my list with my book, -once I manage to put all the pieces together that is – I say;
“I am grateful for attracting the correct people into my life. To my personal and my professional life”
You definetely personify that kind of people I am attracting into my life right now.
Unfortunately one of my babies contracted the Swine Flu and I had, once again to put my biz on the back burner, which frustrates me so very much.
It’s hugely difficult to build your online biz (solidly that is) with such young kids around. They do come first no matter what, but it makes everything that much more difficult when you go throught those trials yourself.
One after another in my case.
I don’t care though, I just keep pushing myself forward.
Lovely to have met you Rob.
Continue the great work you are doing in giving out relentelesly, because it will come back to you 10 times fold.
I garantee you.
Lot’s of love,
Sandra

Hey Rob
Great blog post and great content. With MXA2.0 students your truely not going it alone anymore.
The width and depth of the overall knowledge base of the students is overwhelming, along with their willingness to help . What is also nice to see is not just the number of visitors to your site but the time they spend there. To me this tells me you have a lot of great content to share. Keep up the great work

Petra,
Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, I believe everyone can do this.
And yes, sometimes some of us have developed skills others can sometimes become
jealous of… But we were all once at the beginning.
I will tell you though, there is a risk that when you try to help another it is not always
what they need or is well received… But the key is to apologize when necessary and
keep helping, keep going and never give up.
Yesterday, I had once such event.
My bad. But the key is to keep pressing on.
I’ll always remember those comments from you in this blog reply of yours.
Thanks…
Rob

Relax – you ARE making it online.

You’re obviously working hard and taking action – which should be a big clue to anyone reading this and wondering what they need to do.

Rob this post is great .Your right about the over analysis of Alexs methods.I question at the beginning why i had to do certain things then decided to clear my baggage and just follow the course from week to week.
We are all growing slowly through this 3 weeks ago i would have been able to tell someone the step by step way to get a blog up running or what a JV Giveaway is. Now these things are becoming more natural.

Hello fellow Canadian. Yes, I think everyone–yes, even the so called gurus–I’m sure had that thought enter their minds when they first started out. But, the strong always survive. And I can tell you are a survivor. Drive and motivation will press you on. And I can tell that you have that. Myself, I’ve had some techie problems that really frustrate me–but I pushed on
and found some help by some fantastic people. Luckily, there are some great people in the forum that are willing to help us newbies on our journey. I want to thank you very much for your help–not only that, but you are fast!! Nice work on your blog.
I wish you all the best.

Just keep moving forward and remember if you ever get stuck or discouraged just come back

We all know that if we follow what Alex teaches us, we will go on to bigger things
