Glenn Dietzel found himself a bodyguard

blog No Comments »

Not long ago I made a continuing education investment with Glenn Dietzel and his company Awakened and I’m sure glad I did.

Yep, he’s the guru that just got photographed speaking alongside Anthony Robbins in Las Vegas.  But who is this guy and why is he such an expert.

First and foremost, it’s not because he lives in Sarnia, Ontario.  And if you ever remember getting caught doing anything wrong in high school, he was the piper you had to pay… the vice principal.  Not a popular guy.

So how did this ‘common man’ become an expert coach, almost overnight.

We’ll he’s anal…  Sorry Glenn.  But I mean it in the nicest of ways.

You see every time I’ve been seen as leading a massively successful business I’m usually also getting accused of being overly concerned with making sure every detail and every customers is being more than well looked after.

Clearly Glenn Dietzel and his team fall into this exact same category.

Actually it’s refreshing to have someone so dedicated to wanting to help you succeed.  Some might say moving the free line on giving away valuable content is the way to go…

I think Glenn’s already figured out its more about moving up the commitment line with respect to helping your customers achieve their goals faster than ever before.

Thanks Glenn for committing to your students achievements.

Oh and the bodyguard thing… If not a motivational speaker Anthony Robbins’ would have made a great one…

Don’t you agree…

Did you see Brian Tracy in Edmonton

blog 2 Comments »

Recently, I was emailed a promotion by someone on Brian Tracy’s Team, which got me thinking back to the days when I lived in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.

Many years ago, I was transferred from the east to this amazingly beautiful ’big little town’ .  And I say town because everything that seemed to go on whether in the heat of the summer or the midst of the winter’s blistering cold it still to me very friendly in nature.

It was a turbulent time in my sales career because about every year or so I would move out of one company and into the next…  each time looking to apply my sales talents or lack thereof to essentially earn more income.  Not much seemed to be working.

Then one day this guy with a pretty good attitude came through the office I was working in at the time and said he put on 1/2 day sales training seminars.  He seemed rather young but after he left I convinced my sales manager that for the few hundred bucks he was asking it might be worth a try.

The guy who led our little team of about 6 – 8 people through a sales training session was none other than Brian Tracy.

His techniques were amazing and I was glued to his presentation as well as the concept of leading others in public speaking training demonstrations one day.

Now I don’t recommend this to others, and if you’re reading this Brian I want to appologize in advance, but I was so curious about this sales trainer guy which at the time I likened to God that I got out the phone directory, looked up his address and even drove by his house.

What I figured out is that he seemed nothing more than a regular guy that had focused on developing a science and a system to share with and benefit others.

I never got to thank him in person, but I truly believe this moment in time was a touchstone transformation for me that has since formed what it is I do and the character with which I put behind who it is I’m trying to help.

Look for touchstone people.  They’re out there.  Brian Tracy is just one of the many I’ve come across…  They are the key to your future.
