when I read the comments of Alex’Students I feel myself like a passenger with a ticket to the econom class who got into the Business Class.LOL
People from left and right are doing and selling Video Courses, Trainings, charge thousands of dollars for them, have World Famous Clients, have own Companies with Web Designers and Copywriters and have success already.
As a result the one question only comes to my mind:
What I Am Doing Here?
I do not feel myself comfortable at all.
I have to stop reading these posts. They do not encourage me absolutely.

Anatoly,
You are a very kind person and I’ve been exactly where you are. Don’t worry.
First of all, comparing your journey to other people’s journey is not a good thing. I realize
this is hard to do but there is a way out of it.
Basically, you need to take your eyes off yourself and see what you can do
to brighten up the day of others. Sorry, if that was a little blunt.
This is the real secret to marketing and business in general.
The second secret is this… Goals get you going in the right direction.
Mainly because, when you set a goal for let’s say a certain amount of traffic to your
blog and you don’t know how to get there, you’ll probably ask for help.
Think of where you are in the traffic, list building or money earning department and set
a goal to double it or lets say make it 100 outside visitors, 100 emails on your list or $100 in
revenue by Aug 31, 2009 and then start asking people for helpful ideas on how to
get there.
Most everyones ideas work… but you’ll have to pick a couple you like and then its all
about taking action.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Rob

Copywriting is not my bread and butter, but I’ve certainly written for the big guys from time to time.
English wasn’t my first language and still today it takes me a lot of time to craft
anything I write… Seriously, I was labeled ‘English Challenged’ by my high school teachers.
Hopefully, I can shed some light on the subject over my upcoming video series.

P.S. If you have any writing specific questions just fire them back here, so

BUT…now when I try to login with both the laptop & the PC, I tells me that I must allow cookies & to make sure that they are enabled. They are-no settings were changed. So, now I haven’t been able to log back into it to see who might be visiting me. It was a lot of fun watching everyone’s moves though while it lasted.

Hi Rob,
I just watched your video #6 on Bog Traffic and I’m glad I did.
While I always try to break up my post articles into paragraphs that aren’t too long I never thought of trying to sell readers on reading the next line and the one after that all the way down.
That is some advanced writing. I never wrote a real sales copy in my life so this is very revealing and new to me.

Hi rob im back again for my daily dose of copywritting medicine
just watched your secret video , but couldnt find where to comment , I must of overlooked something.
just a suggestion a tip I got from matthew wolfe was ,when altering a php file always copy and paste it to notepad before you make any alterations, then you have at least a back up.
I know your videos are easy to follow but someone somewhere usually screws up and that someone is usually me lol.

Mick,
I’m usually one of the first guys that screws up and so Matt’s advice is a good one. However, what I do is after ftping a file to my pc to
work on before uploading it back I rename the existing file ie thisfile.php renamed to thisfile.php-old then I ftp up the new file.
If I did it right then I leave the renamed file for future reference and if what I did was wrong, I just rename thisfile.php-old back to its original
name of thisfile.php
Hope that helps,
Rob

Hey Rob, looks like you’re getting quite a folowing. I wanted to say thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my blog earlier – I replied there, but you probably haven’t been back… I haven’t made another post because a plug in (or two) seems to wipe them clean, except for the first one.
I was just getting started (late) because of wife’s surgery, when I had to finally have my back worked on. Today’s the first time I’ve tried to sit down at the computer – and I can tell right now that it’s going to be a few more days …
I’ve been threatening to make dog food out of that horse for the last four years, I guess I waited too long..LOL Just kidding, he’s got a home here till he dies, he’s the only one I’ve ever had that my wife says is more ‘spirited’ than me – I guess that’s why she calls him Diablo.
Keep Smilin ….

Mike,
Sorry to hear about your wife… Me, I’m deathly allergic to horses… But love em.
Funny how that is… btw where do they get the expression, the devil made me do it.
any relation to your horse.
Speak soon,
Rob

Hi Rob
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Great video.
I’m studying different psychological triggers the best copywriters use in their copy.
I’m glad to see how well you use and explained with your own words the zeigarnik effect. Even when I’ve read about it several times, here you give us a practical and 100% clear explanation of how to use it.
You got my 10 points from 10 possible.
All the best
